CLC World’s “Safe Hands”

CLC WORLD will ensure you are in “SAFE HANDS” from the moment you arrive to the moment you depart.

CLC World’s newly formed Global Health & Safety Task Force launched the “SAFE HANDS” initiative to promote even higher standards of cleanliness and safety in the age of COVID-19.

Building on CLC World’s long-standing relationship with Ecolab®, the global leader in water, hygiene and energy technologies and services, CLC World’s Global Health and Safety Task Force has rolled out a detailed platform to increase safety for guest and Team Members though the “SAFE HANDS” program outlined below.

  • Your arrival
Check-in protocols are in place to reduce contact levels. Additional disinfecting dispensers are available so guests and employees can disinfect their hands at all important contact points.
  • Your private Town House
Robust cleaning practices are implemented which include the use of Ecolab’s hospital-grade, disinfectant products. A room seal will be placed on the door to indicate that the Town House is ready for guests and has not been accessed since being cleaned.
  • Public Area
Heightened cleaning procedures remain in place for high-traffic areas such as the lobby, fitness centres, pools and other high-touch zones.
  • Restaurants
The capacity in restaurants has been reduced to ensure physical distancing rules are being followed and new approaches towards buffets are in place.
  • Chemical usage Ecolab’s hospital-grade, disinfectant products are approved by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and recommended by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
  • Special Equipment
Team Members use electrostatic sprayers and fogger machines with hospital-grade disinfectant to sanitize surfaces. The sprayers rapidly clean and disinfect entire areas such as guest rooms, lobbies, gyms and pool areas. Electrostatic spraying technology uses the highest classification of disinfectants recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) to treat known pathogens.
  • Signage & Communication
On-property signage and decals reiterating CDC physical distancing guidelines, personal sanitation guidelines and the importance of surface cleaning and hand washing.
  • Reorganized shared areas
The public areas, restaurants and Town Houses have gone through a reorganization process to ensure physical distancing can be practiced and “Safe Hands” cleaning protocols can be followed.
  • Physical Distancing
The CDC and WHO warn about direct, person-to-person contact as the primary way COVID-19 is spread. All efforts are being made to help alleviate the risk of transmission this way. Signage has been installed in the lobby to remind guests to maintain physical distancing protocols. Furniture has been removed or rearranged to allow more space for distancing throughout the public areas and restaurants.
  • Training
All Team Members are trained to know the changes we are making to help safeguard their health as well as our guests’.

CLC World’s Global Health & Safety Task Force will continue to consult with local, regional and international health authorities (including the WHO and CDC) to ensure we continue to provide the highest possible protection levels to our guests and Team Members.
